The original CGO600 began as an Indiegogo campaign back in 2021 and Tenways have since released their CGO600 Plus and even the CGO600 Pro! Out of all the CGO600 e-bikes, is the Plus model their best one yet? It weighs slightly more than their other electric commuter bikes but the powerful motor, paired with the torque sensor and eight gears really makes this bike a dream to ride.

Components and build quality:
This electric bike does come disassembled in the box but it is super easy to put together. The instructions are super clear and easy to follow and the bike is light enough to lift out of the box so you could do this on your own.
This bike has a beautiful sleek design and comes in two colours: sky blue or pebble grey. Cabling is concealed and wider tyres give extra grip on the road.

You can set your bike up with the Tenways App which can tell you the estimated range your eclectic bike has left which proved to be pretty spot on when we conducted our tests.
The Tenways CGO600 Plus comes in three sizes (M, L, XL) suitable for riders between 5”7 and 6”5.
Performance and handling:
Our expert eclectic bike reviewer Eilis found this bike to be super lightweight to cycle. Because of this she found it really easy to push past the top speed of the pedal assist (15.5mph) just by shifting gears and outputting a little more power though her legs.
Compared to the Tenways CGO600 Pro this bike is much better suited to mixed terrain and uphills because it has a regular chain and gears rather than a carbon belt dive.
Eilis managed to get 35miles out of one charge of the Tenways battery. She was cycling on the highest level of assist for most of her test. As of course battery performance is always affected by the outside temperature, how much weight is on the bike, and whether you are tackling a lot of hills or sticking to flatter terrain.
Safety and security:
The bike is unlocked using a pin (that you can set) on the LCD display meaning that no one other than yourself can unlock your bike and use that electric assist.
The battery is removable and lockable using a key so you could leave your bike with the battery locked into place if you so wished.
The integrated lighting system on the front and rear lights up the road ahead so you can see and be seen without blinding other road users.
