One downside to this amazing ebike is that it has no kickstand. ADO states that the reason behind this is that the structural integrity of the carbon fiber could be compromised, and it is susceptible to damage from the stress points that traditional kickstands create. But don’t worry, they are already working on a bike stand that will be available as an additional accessory. And because the ADO Air Carbon is a foldable ebike, another option is to fold it down, making it easier to store, and removing the need for a kickstand.
Engwe M20 2.0 - $1,299
The Engwe M20 2.0 surprised me - I thought it was going to be a good looking bike that put style over substance, but it's actually a fun bike to ride and held up well during my testing.
The dual suspension and chunky tires really smooth out the ride, good for rolling through town or heading off-road. With the fat tires and hydraulic disc brakes, this ebike felt stable and easy to control on most surfaces—maybe not super steep trails, but it handled almost everything else with ease.
With its 750W motor, the M20 can reach up to 28 mph, (check local laws for speed limits). It’s not just about the speed, though—the M20 is built to last a while, with a range of up to 44 miles on one charge.
Engwe X24 - $1,299.00
The Engwe X24 is built for both city commutes and off-road adventures, thanks to its 1000W motor that kicks up to 31 mph, and its robust frame (check local laws for speed limits).
The hydraulic brakes offered reliable stopping power, which made me feel more confident even at higher speeds.
The range is another highlight—the website claims 62 miles on a single charge, which is impressive given the motor’s power. It can handle up to 30° incline, thanks to its 70 Nm of torque.
The Engwe X24 is a powerful and versatile ebike that is ideal for those who need to travel far distances, cross different types of terrain, and even those who enjoy a little bit of speed.
Engwe X20 - $999.00
Compact yet strong, the Engwe X20 is a great choice if you need power without the bulk. With a 750W motor, it’s more than powerful enough to handle adventuring and off-roading. It’s capable of reaching up to 31 mph (check local laws for speed limits), and claims a 62 miles range on a single charge.
The X20’s fat tires provide extra grip, making it a reliable choice on gravel or wet streets. I also appreciated the triple shock absorbance system, which gave the bike a surprisingly smooth ride for its size. Plus, the bike folds up nicely, making it ideal for small storage spaces or car trunks.
Cyrusher Trax 24 - $1,999.00
I was particularly impressed with the 24-inch fat tires, which added extra stability and traction on rough surfaces.
The battery life also held up well, giving me over around 56 miles on a single charge. If you’re looking for an e-bike that can handle diverse terrains, the Trax 24 is a fantastic option.
Another point in favor of the Cyrusher Trax 24, is that I could choose to charge the battery in place thanks to its integrated charger or take it out and charge separately.
Cyrusher Kommoda 2.0 - $1,699.00
The Cyrusher Kommoda 2.0 is perfect for those who want a reliable city e-bike with a bit of extra flair.
The 750W motor provides a smooth, consistent ride, even on inclines, while the step-through frame makes mounting easy. It also includes a rear cargo rack, which I found useful for carrying bags or groceries. It claims a 68 miles range, and a top speed of 28 mph (check local laws for speed limits).
The Kommoda’s rear air shock suspension system helps keep the ride smooth on bumpy city roads, making it a great option for urban commuters.
Fiido Titan - $1,499.00
Its 750W motor along with the torque sensor made me feel like I was riding on flat ground even on steep hills, reaching 15.5 mph with ease.
The sturdy frame can support heavy loads without sacrificing stability, as it’s built to carry both you and your cargo comfortably. The Titan’s fat tires provide a balanced ride on various surfaces, while the built-in rear rack offers plenty of space for cargo.

If you're looking for something a bit more adequate for city riding, the Fiido C21 might be a better option for you.
With a 250W motor, it’s not as powerful as some others on this list, but it’s ideal for city riding, moderate hills, and sandy beaches all the same. The website claims up to 62 Miles, setting a new standard for lightweight models.
At only 38.5 lbs, the bike is lightweight, making it easy to carry or store, and the frame design is sleek and minimalist.
I found the ride smooth and comfortable, and I was able to safely ride in light rain, thanks to the IP54 waterproofing on it.
I’m barely 5’3”, so another thing I loved about this ebike is that it comes in two sizes: L: 5'7"- 6'5" (170-195 cm), and M: 5'3" -5'9" (160-175 cm), so you can choose whichever fits you better!
Cowboy Cruiser - $2,490.00
The Cowboy Cruiser feels right at home on the streets of New York or Chicago. It’s sleek design gives it a chic vibe that would totally fit in with the most stylish riders.
The 250W rear motor is smooth and silent, and the 454 Nm torque will give you enough push for some hilly areas. The range is claimed to be between 49-90 km, depending on the mode you use to ride.

The DYU V8 is compact, comfortable, and ideal for city dwellers. It features a 750W motor, a claimed range of 52 miles, and three riding modes to better fit your needs. The bike’s dual shock absorbers were surprisingly effective, absorbing most bumps on my ride. It’s highly portable, making it easy to bring indoors for storage or take along on trips. I took this bike through dirt, grass, hills, gravel—you name it! I pushed it up climbs, over small bumps and big bumps. Honestly, whatever you throw at it, this bike can handle, especially with its dual rear suspension keeping things smooth.
One thing that might deter some people from choosing this ebike is that it does not have an adjustable seat, so make sure to check its specs for height (recommended rider height: 5.24 - 6.39 ft) before you commit.
DYU King 750 - $899.00
If you’re after a bike that offers both power and comfort, the DYU King 750 is a great option. With a robust 750W motor, it can tackle up to 15° and carry around 330 lb. Thanks to its 26×4 tires, this ebike has a great adaptability to harsh terrain.
It can reach 48 mph and has a claimed max range of 80 miles on assist mode, or around 53 miles on throttle mode. The throttle itself feels very safe, being a half twist throttle to prevent accidental touch and cause injury.
The bike’s rear rack is sturdy and practical for grocery runs or commuting. I also enjoyed the smooth ride thanks to its suspension system, which makes it comfortable even on rougher city roads.
