Components and build quality:

The standout component is the fact that this bike has two motors, one in each wheel. They are both 1750W motors which means that when they are used together this bike can deliver up to 3500W of power! Each motor also pushes 100Nm of torque meaning that it can handle tough terrain when you want it to.

It comes with a thumb throttle for when you want to cruise but it is also built to be ridden as it comes with a 7-speed Shimano drive chain.

Performance and handling:

This bike was great to ride and felt really powerful. The dual-motor setting had me gliding along at top speeds and of course the thumb throttle was great for zooming along those long stretches of road. I would say that there is a noticeable difference between the single and dual motor settings when riding and using the throttle. Because of the weight of the bike I did find that I definitely needed to use the dual-motor mode when climbing any hills if I wanted to maintain a speed above 10mph.

We did take this bike on some trails as well and it performed really nicely! The fat tires mean that I always felt planted to the ground. The tyres combined with the full suspension also meant that a lot of the bumps in the uneven terrain were soaked up by the bike and I had a really nice ride!

I would say that my only qualm with this bike is that the geometry means that the seat feels daily close to the handle bars. I’m sure you could adjust the seat to move it back slightly but I’m not sure that that would totally eradicate the issue and it's probably something that you would just get used to over time.

Safety and security:

Hydraulic brakes are there to ensure that you can stop when you want to stop in a range of weather conditions.

Integrated front and rear lights also make sure that you can see and be seen on the road.
