The Aniioki AQ177 Pro Max Ultra is a long-range fat tire e-bike that has been built with one thing in mind: covering serious distances. With a huge battery, an incredibly powerful motor and enough suspension to smooth out almost any trail, this isn't your average electric bike.

Components and build quality:

The Aniioki AQ177 comes with a 3000W direct drive motor that is powered by a 60V power system. You can choose a 70Ah or 80Ah battery which will push 130-140Nm of torque respectively. Dispensing on the battery you pick, the range will also vary. Aniioki claims that you can get 120- 210 miles with PAS, or 70 - 80 miles w/o PAS out of one fully charged battery. 

There are five levels of pedal assist and a 7-speed Shimano gearing system so you are fully in control of your ride and can fine tune it to match your riding style. 

This e-bike  is a good choice for bigger riders because it has a max capacity of 400lbs. It also has a rear that can withstand a max load of 50lbs (the 50lbs will be included in the 400lbs max load). Aniioki claims that the frame is suited for riders between 5’3” and 6’5”, although much taller riders may find that their knees come a little close to the handlebars when using the pedals. 

The AQ177 comes with a dual suspension system as well as seat post suspension. With hydraulic front suspension fork with lockout and rear adjustable spring shock absorbers this bike can handle rougher terrain easily. This shock absorbing suspension is only enhanced by fat tyres that also work to even out any bumps or dips in the road. 

 

Performance and handing:

This is definitely a fun ebike to ride: is it as powerful as it is comfortable. 

The triple suspension immediately stood out during testing. Between the front forks, rear shock and suspension seatpost, very little of the bumps, potholes or rough surfaces made their way through to the rider. Combined with the fat tyres, the bike feels planted and confidence-inspiring on everything from broken tarmac to gravel paths.

The Shimano 7-speed gearing system is good when you are using the pedals. I did find myself cycling in a mid to higher gear a lot of the time because the trouble with such powerful motors is that sometimes there can be a ghost pedaling sensation but the 7-speed system did help to combat this.

Of course, one of the biggest attractions of this bike is the twist throttle. On long, open roads where you simply want to sit back and cruise, it makes complete sense. With a top speed of around 44-47mph, there's plenty of performance available, and it delivers that speed in a surprisingly composed manner. One thing I particularly appreciated was how smooth the throttle felt. Some powerful e-bikes can have overly sensitive throttles that make pulling away from junctions feel jerky or unpredictable. Thankfully, that isn't the case here. Acceleration is progressive and easy to control, giving you confidence when setting off at traffic lights or navigating slower sections before opening it up again.

I really appreciated the step through frame. On an e-bike this heavy I am always wary of kicking my leg over the back in case I lose balance and topple over with it on top of me but the step-through frame eradicated that fear. 

Despite its size, the AQ177 never feels intimidating once you're moving. It carries its weight well and remains stable at speed, making it feel like a genuinely capable long-distance machine.

 

Safety and security:

Aniioki has included several thoughtful features that help the AQ177 feel as premium as its price tag suggests.

Perhaps the standout feature is the remote anti-theft system. Using the supplied remote, you can lock or unlock the bike and activate its built-in alarm. It's one of those features you don't often see on e-bikes, and it genuinely makes the AQ177 feel more like a small electric motorcycle. Knowing you can secure it remotely adds an extra level of reassurance, particularly considering the value of the bike.

Stopping power is equally important on a machine capable of these speeds, and thankfully the AQ177 delivers here too. Hydraulic dual-piston brakes paired with 180mm rotors provide strong, predictable braking performance whether you're slowing down on the road or descending steep hills. Even on faster downhill sections, the brakes felt controlled and progressive rather than overly sharp, helping maintain confidence throughout the ride.

Integrated front and rear lights come as standard, making you more visible in lower-light conditions, while built-in indicators are another welcome addition. They're particularly useful when riding on the road, helping communicate your intentions to other road users without needing to remove a hand from the handlebars.

Verdict

If your priority is covering huge distances in comfort, it's difficult not to be impressed by the Aniioki AQ177 Pro Max Ultra. Between its enormous battery options, powerful motor, plush triple suspension and stable handling, it feels purpose-built for riders who want to spend entire days exploring.

It won't be for everyone. It's big, heavy and more powerful than many riders will ever need, while the lengthy charging time means you'll want to plan ahead before your next adventure.
