Components and build quality:
The Cyrusher Glider has a 250W motor in the UK (in accordance with the legal limit) and a 750W motor across the pond in the USA. This means that in the UK it has a top speed of 15.5mph and in the USA it can reach up to 28mph.
Both models push 95Nm of torque and are powered by a 52V 15.6Ah battery that Cyrusher claims offers up to 62miles of range.
It comes with a torque sensor and 7-speed Shimano gears offering a very natural riding feel as power output from the motor is matched to the power output by your leg. It also comes with front suspension and chunky 4” fat tyres for a smooth ride.
The fact that this bike has a max capacity of 200kg/440lbs is outstanding. It really does mean that this bike can be loaded up with cargo, be that groceries, children, extra passengers, deliveries, personal goods.
The step though frame means that you don't have to try and balance the bike to kick your leg over the back when it might be heavy and loaded up with cargo. It also means that you can be a little more flexible with your outfit choices if you would like to wear a skirt while riding in the summer.
The Glider comes with a double kickstand which means that even when your bike is loaded up with cargo and you get off it can stand and be stable on its own. It does however seesaw a bit so if you load up the back it may tip backwards until the rear wheel touches the floor.
This cargo bike comes with a rear rack but all additional accessories such as a front or rear basket or child seats can be purchased for an additional cost. It does come with two foot snap-in aluminum Running Boards for passenger comfort or cargo support.

Performance and handling:
Now with a big rig like this you might be thinking that it is a beast to build when you get it out of the box but actually this was super simple! It didn’t take us too long at all and we added the front basket and the rear rack extender to the model that we tested.
The assist came in instantly as soon as I pushed my foot down on the pedal which was very much appreciated as it totally took the weight of the bike from me and the assist felt very powerful and I could adjust the gears to suit my riding cadence preferences.
The combination of the fat tyres and the front suspension really does a good job at soaking up any bumps or dips in the road especially when the bike is loaded up with cargo. No one wants to be feeling the impact of uneven surfaces when you have a bunch of extra cargo or passengers on the back. The saddle is also very comfortable - very wide and cushioned - which really makes a difference if you want to be out riding all day if you are running errands or doing deliveries.

Safety and security:
The integrated front and rear lighting system means that you can see and be seen on the road.
Hydraulic brakes are also there to make sure that you can stop in a variety of weather conditions. Hydraulic brakes for me are a must on a bike that could be loaded with up to 200kg/440lbs extra weight.
The removable battery not only makes for easy charging inside but also means that you can take it with you should you need to lock your bike up in public, making it less attractive to any thieves that might be about because there is no way you are cycling this bike without that battery assistance.
