Performance
This is a 500W single motor electric scooter with 10” tires and a LCD display.
The G4 Pro has a top speed of 20mph. So many scooters are limited to 15.5mph which can oftentimes just feel too sluggish so the G4 Pro really stands out in comparison. It can reach this top speed quickly and easily, giving the G4 Pro a good overall performance.
The G4 Pro also has LED front light and the rear lights you should feel safe on the roads in all light levels.
Comfort and Handling
Unlike its predecessor, the G4, the G4 Pro has suspension! This really makes a difference to riders on those longer rides across the city as bumps in the road are soaked up, not only by the suspension, but by the 3-inch wide (and 10-inch in diameter) pneumatic tires as well. The combination of the pneumatic tires and the suspension really do make the Pro standout.
The footplate on this scooter is also a standout feature of comfort. It has lots of grip which helps to make you feel comfortable in all weather conditions.
This scooter weighs in at 16kg which is fairly light, definitely light enough to carry single-handedly for short distances, meaning that it would be a good companion for your commute to work should you desire.
Brakes
Of course, it is fun and handy to have a speedy scooter, but with this power, it is important to have the ability to stop quickly.
The Gotrax G4 Pro has an electromagnetic break at the front and a disc break at the rear. The disc brake means that you will have the assurance that you can stop in any weather conditions, and the electromagnetic brake acts as a failsafe, putting the brakes on the scooter if power is lost to prevent runaway situations.

Gotrax’s customer service is excellent which is great to know before you purchase because it gives you reassurance that should anything go wrong with the scooter then they would be on hand to help sort your issue out.
The G4 Pro also comes with an integrated lock which can keep your ride secure and at as a deterrent to any thieves that may seek to interfere with your e-scooter.
