Components and build quality:

So what makes the 2026 model better than its predecessors? Because, honestly, the previous models were already pretty good. Well ADO have made adjustments to the motor so you get 25% higher torque, they've upped the IPX rating so it is now durable even in heavy rain and storms, and you can now use NFC cards to power the bike on/off.

It is not the lightest folding bike at 19kg but ADO hasn't compromised on any of the heavier components (suspension, long-range battery, rear rack) that make this an exceptional ride. This isn’t just a folding city commuter bike, this can be your companion on longer days out and adventures.

It is available in a city grey colour or a beautiful light blue.

Performance and handling:

ADO bikes are some of our favourite to ride at Electroheads. Their motors and carbon-belt drive systems make for really a smooth but also powerful riding experience. That is no exception on this bike. The three-speed system shifts seamlessly to meet your needs and match the terrain you are tackling be it flat or hilly. The torque sensor kicks in as soon as you press down on the pedal and gives a very natural riding experience.

The front suspension helps to smooth out any bumps or dips in the road and makes this bike even smoother to ride.

We found it simple to fold this bike down and while it is not the smallest fold it will still fit under a luggage rack on a train and can be stored inside.

Safety and security:

NFC card access to power your bike on and off keeps your bike safe and secure. You can also set up a password to unlock the bike so only those who know the password can get it going.

The removable seatpost battery also means that you can take it with you meaning that you can charge it anywhere and it acts as a deterrent to any thieves.
