Components and build quality:

One of the biggest reasons the Lynx stands out is its compact and lightweight design. Weighing just 123lbs, it is significantly lighter than most electric dirt bikes on the market, making it far easier to manoeuvre, balance, and control. Combined with its lower seat height, the Lynx feels much less intimidating than larger full-size bikes, making it an ideal option for teens, shorter riders, or complete dirt bike beginners who want to build confidence off-road.

Despite its smaller frame, the Lynx remains practical for a wide range of riders thanks to its standard rider capacity of up to 265lbs (120kgs). This makes it suitable for both younger riders and adults who want a lighter, more playful alternative to heavier electric dirt bikes.

One of the standout features of the Lynx is its mid-drive motor setup. Unlike hub motors, a mid-drive motor delivers power in a more balanced and controlled way, helping improve traction and climbing ability on rough terrain. Power is controlled via a right-hand twist throttle, and the response is immediate.

Performance and handling:

That approachable size does not mean reduced performance. In fact, the Lynx delivers an impressive amount of power for its category. It features a 1500W mid-drive motor capable of producing up to 3000W peak power along with a huge 200Nm of torque. The acceleration feels immediate and energetic, giving the bike a genuinely exciting riding experience both on trails and open terrain. The Lynx can also reach top speeds of up to 37mph, proving that this “mini” dirt bike is still more than capable of delivering serious fun.

One thing I will say about the Lynx is that the throttle is pretty twitchy. From the moment to start to twist it the motor kicks into action and you start moving forwards at a fairly rapid speed. So on the one hand this is  definitely what you want from an electric dirt bike, but it does also take a bit of getting used to as you don't want to end up flying off the back. If you've watched my video review then you’ll see that I definitely had some teething issues when it came to handling this bike.

The Lynx does come with a reverse button which makes for smoother and easier handling when trying to maneuver this bike.

Safety and security:

The Cyrusher Lynx has heavy-duty hydraulic brakes which gives you stronger, more reliable stopping power when control matters most.
