The best electric scooters with seats in 2026

These are the best escooters with seats we've tested - even though some may look like bikes without pedals, they are all still classed as scooters.

You may prefer a scooter with a seat because of comfort (as you don't have to stand for so long) or safety (due to better balance). Scooters with fixed seats also have more carrying / cargo options than traditional scooters. Bear in mind that scooters aren't road-legal in all countries.

AOVOPRO ESBS - £559.00

The AOVOPRO ESBS is an electric scooter that comes with a seat, a 500W battery, 14” wheels and a rear basket. The 500W motor can power this scooter up to 22mph!

I really liked the 14” wheels as they provided a more stable handling of the scooter, especially if and when you hit uneven surfaces. And with shock absorbers in the seatpost and front suspension, most bumps in the road are soaked up by this dual suspension system, making it a smooth ride.

The removable basket at the back is a good way to store extra cargo if you need it, and rear turn signals keep other road users aware of your movements on the road.

Gotrax - $699.99

I really enjoyed riding this seated scooter by Gotrax. The 500W motor can get you up to 20mph (and that's usually where I set because I like going fast!) and the  combination of the 16" pneumatic tires and dual suspension system make it a really smooth ride over any uneven terrain.

A crucial aspect of a seated scooter is a comfortable seat, and Gotrax defiantly have that sorted. The seat remained comfortable for my entire commute and I could get about 20miles out of the battery in between charges.

The under-seat bag is big enough to store your essentials or any spillover cargo you might have and the front and rear lights make sure that you can see and be seen on the roads at all times.

iScooter - $799.99

This scooter has a little bit of a different design: rather than being a standup scooter that has a seat this scooter has more of a motorbike design. This is my favourite kind of seated scooter to ride. Sometimes with other seated scooters the seated position can feel a little compact and the foot deck a little small, but with this design there is a nice long seat and dedicated foot pedals.

The 1500W motor has four speed settings up to 35mph and a claimed range of 45miles. The large 15”x3” pneumatic tires help to soak up any bumps or dips in the road and make for smoother handling when steering.

Another thing that I really liked about this scooter is that it also has plenty of room to store any spillover cargo you might be carrying.
