Components and build quality:
While the integrated battery design does keep the bike sleek it does also mean that it has to be brought inside to charge. The good thing is that the bike is lightweight so it is easy enough to carry upstairs if you live on the second or third floor.
The C21 comes with a lovely clear display where you can easily see all of the information that you need such as assist level, speed, and battery percentage. The brightness and colours on the display means that it can be seen even on a bright sunny day. Just below the display you can change the mode and level of assist. There are also other control buttons such as lights and horn on the left side of the handlebars. You can also connect your bike to the Fiido app and control it from there!
It can carry a maximum load of up to 120kg and is compatible with a rear back (although that must be bought separately).
Performance and handling:
This bike is pretty lightweight at only 17.5kg which makes it easy to maneuver, carry upstairs, and commute with.
The integrated battery design makes this bike sleek and discreet, reducing any unwanted attention that an ebike might attract. The ‘classic’ bike style combined with the torque sensor maintains the natural riding feeling. This means that if you're looking to make the switch from your existing commuter bike to an electric but don’t want a drastic change in riding style then this is the ebike for you.
The motor instantly kicks in as soon as you press down on the pedal and because of how lightweight the bike is, you feel a good amount of power come through even when youre in ‘normal’ mode.
Safety and security:
Dual hydraulic brakes keep you safe by ensuring that you stop when you want to stop.
The discreet design of the integrated battery means that the Fiido C21 avoids attracting any unwanted attention and keeps your bike safe.
